Prior to the injection, you will require a consultation to see if the vitamin treatment is suitable for you. If all is well, we cleanse the upper arm and administer the vitamins via a small fine needle directly into the muscle. The treatment takes a couple of minutes and there is no downtime to the injections.
Vitamin B12, which is also known as cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin, naturally found in foods like meat, fish and dairy. It is also added to other foods and synthesised by bacteria in the small intestine. - Supports Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails
The symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency can take several years to appear, because the body stores approximately 2000 times as much B12 we would typically need.

Other symptoms you may experience is pale skin, heart palpitations, weight loss, decreased appetite, sensitivity or numbness in your fingers and infertility. Other symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency include problems with balance, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and soreness of the mouth or tongue which can manifest as ulcers.
It is likely you may initially need a loading dose which can be 4-6 injections once a week, followed by top up B12 injections at 8-12 week intervals.

Also known as vitamin H or B7, biotin is one of the B complex water soluble vitamins that is commonly found in foods like eggs, milk, and bananas. It plays an important role in aiding enzymes to break down carbohydrates, proteins and fats from the foods we eat. Without this process, the food wouldn’t be converted into energy for us and our bodies to use, either to help hair grow or simply perform our daily tasks.
Biotin strengthens the protein keratin that is the main component in our hair, skin and nails. We need Biotin for new hair growth, but also to keep our existing hair thick, strong and shiny. Biotin also encourages the elasticity of our hair, which minimises breakage and split ends. When injected, Biotin helps to gradually replace dry, damaged hair with healthier, stronger hair.
If you suffer from loss of hair, reduced volume in certain areas of hair that’s fine and shreds easily, you may be suitable for the Biotin hair growth injections. The injections are also often combined with additional hair restoration treatments such as an IV Vitamin drip and PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) therapy for hair loss.
- Biotin helps with hair in the following ways:
- Strengthen thinning hair
- Help prevent hair loss
- Support hair regrowth and thickness
- Reduce breakage and split ends
- Biotin also helps with strengthening nails, helps to increase metabolism and improves blood sugar levels
